Agentype is operated by KB AI LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate a software-as-a-service platform that helps real estate agents manage leads, send follow-up emails, and schedule property viewings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our service at agentype.ai.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Your name, email address, and profile picture obtained via Google Sign-In.
Lead data: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes about your real estate leads that you enter or import into the platform.
Google account data: With your explicit permission, we access your Gmail to send emails on your behalf and your Google Calendar to read available time slots for scheduling viewings. We do not store the content of your Gmail inbox.
Usage and analytics data: We automatically collect feature usage metrics, session duration, page views, and AI feature utilization (such as the number of AI requests and token consumption) to operate, monitor, and improve the service. This data is associated with your account and retained for up to 90 days in aggregated daily form.
Payment information: Billing details are handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
SMS conversations: When you enable AI SMS engagement, we store text message conversations between our AI assistant and your leads. These messages may contain qualification data (budget, timeline, preferences) provided by the lead. SMS conversation data is retained for up to 180 days and then automatically deleted. Lead phone numbers, message content, and extracted qualification data are sent to our AI provider for processing. SMS engagement requires explicit lead consent and all automated messages are clearly labeled as automated.
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide and operate the Agentype service.
To generate AI-powered content (follow-up emails, listing descriptions, viewing invitations, lead-listing matching) by sending relevant lead and listing data to our AI provider for processing.
To send follow-up emails to your leads via Gmail on your behalf.
To read your Google Calendar and suggest available viewing slots.
To process subscription payments through Stripe.
To send you transactional emails (welcome, trial expiry, weekly summary) via our email service provider.
To measure service usage and resource consumption for billing, capacity planning, and abuse prevention.
To improve platform features and fix bugs.
To comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers
Agentype uses third-party AI services to generate content on your behalf. When you use AI-powered features (follow-up emails, listing copy, viewing messages, lead-listing matching, email classification), relevant data from your account — including lead names, email addresses, notes, listing details, and email thread snippets — is sent to our AI provider for processing.
Our current AI provider is Google (Gemini API). Data sent to the AI provider is used solely to generate a response for your specific request. We do not permit our AI provider to use your data to train or improve their models.
We select AI providers that offer commercially reasonable data protection commitments. You can review Google's AI data practices at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
5. AI-Powered SMS Engagement
Agentype offers an optional AI-powered SMS engagement feature that can automatically text your leads to qualify them on your behalf. When enabled, an AI assistant will send text messages to leads who have provided explicit consent to receive SMS communications.
Consent required: AI SMS engagement is only activated for leads who have provided prior express consent to receive automated text messages, in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Automated message disclosure: All AI-generated text messages are clearly labeled as automated messages, in compliance with applicable disclosure laws.
Opt-out: Leads can reply STOP at any time to opt out of all automated SMS communications. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.
Data sent to AI: Lead name, phone number, message history, and notes are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate contextual responses and extract qualification data (budget, timeline, preferences).
Retention: SMS conversation data is retained for up to 180 days and then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Google API Data
Our use of Google APIs is limited to the following:
Gmail (send only): We send emails on your behalf to leads you have added to the platform. We do not read, store, or process the content of your inbox beyond scanning for lead notification emails from known real estate platforms (with your permission).
Google Calendar (read and write): We read your calendar events to identify your available time slots for property viewings, and create calendar holds when you schedule viewings.
Data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, is not shared with third parties for their independent use, and is not used to train AI models. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Your data is stored securely in our database hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Account data (leads, listings, automations, follow-ups) is retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Usage and session analytics are retained in aggregated daily form for up to 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
8. Data Sharing and Sub-Processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the platform:
Supabase — database hosting and authentication
Google (Gemini API) — AI content generation (lead data, listing data, and email snippets are sent for processing)
Google (Gmail & Calendar APIs) — email sending and calendar integration
Stripe — payment processing
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — cloud hosting, edge caching, and web analytics
9. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data.
You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page.

Agentype is based in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
For transfers of personal data from the EEA, EU, or UK to the United States, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and/or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, as applicable. These safeguards ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.

13. Data Breach Notification

We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and basic web analytics cookies provided by Vercel to measure aggregate page views and performance. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We do not engage in cross-site tracking.
